Human Resources Assistant Location: Belfast Pay Rate: £16.65 per hour Hours: Full-Time We are seeking a proactive and organised Human Resources Assistant to support the HR and administrative functions within the City and Neighbourhood Services department. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day administrative and HR support across the department Supervise, allocate tasks to, and develop assigned staff Compile and analyse workforce and compliance data for reports Maintain accurate records and documentation systems Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and agency staffing Support absence management, employee relations, and payroll processes Assist with investigations and grievance/disciplinary procedures Prepare and issue reports, correspondence, agendas and minutes Contribute to training plans and staff development coordination Essential Experience: Candidates must demonstrate at least one years relevant HR experience in the following areas: Advising operational managers on a range of HR matters (e.g. attendance, recruitment, FOI/DSARs, employee relations) Developing and maintaining HR systems and administrative processes Direct supervision of staff Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication Analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience extracting and reporting on HR data This is a Grade 5 role reporting to the Business Support Officer (HR/Administration).
