Verisk is seeking a Data Scientist to help revolutionize the automotive claims and repair industry through advanced analytics, machine learning, and computer vision. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Develop analytic solutions using Computer Vision, Predictive Modeling, and Generative AI to improve claims workflows and vehicle assessment. Work with rich datasets including insurance claims, vehicle diagnostics, and repair records. Deliver solutions that are accurate, interpretable, and impactful—enhancing products, streamlining processes, and driving innovation. Mentor analytic interns and contribute to Verisk’s vibrant analytics community. Qualifications What You’ll Bring Master degree with more than 2 years of experience, or PhD with 0–2 years in a quantitative field. Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Hadoop, MongoDB, Neo4j). Proven experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Experience with insurance tech, vehicle diagnostics, or repair estimation tools. Familiarity with tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A background in automotive, claims, or auto repair— would be an additional asset.
