Overview
As a Restaurant Waiter/Waitress at Hotel Riviera, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering professional and attentive service while ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests and escort them to their tables, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
* Present menus, make recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
* Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring high-quality presentation.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest concerns or special requests promptly and efficiently.
* Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to any feedback or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including setting and resetting tables.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
* Assist with billing and processing payments accurately.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Uphold Hotel Riviera's standards of excellence in service and hospitality.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while providing excellent service.
* Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a restaurant setting.
