We are currently recruiting for Trainee Drainage Operatives to join our team in Stafford. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing team working on critical infrastructure projects that make a real difference to communities.
About The Role
Working on our Severn Trent Water contract, we are looking for Trainee Drainage Operatives due to increased workload.
* Location: Stafford
* Hours: Monday to Friday – 50 Hours per week
* Salary: £31,746 - £36,141 (including overtime, available as per business needs)
The Job
No drainage experience is necessary as we will train you to the appropriate standard. You’ll be shadowing/assisting a drainage engineer, handling drainage issues such as blockages and pipe cleaning during maintenance.
You will be trained to use CCTV equipment that monitors water within utility pipes, measuring heights, depths, and checking for damages.
Experience and Qualifications
* Training on equipment and drain defect identification
* Proficiency in using Excel for site drawings
* Full UK Driver’s License (no more than 6 points)
