Our Reward Advisory Services (RAS) team is a crucial part of our Employer Solutions offering, working closely with clients to design and implement effective employee incentive arrangements for a wide range of private AIM and FTSE listed companies.
To grow our North RAS practice, we need specialist practitioners supported by the national RAS team and local stakeholders. We offer flexible working options, including reduced hours and job shares, to help you balance work and life.
About the Role
We are seeking an Equity Reward specialist to lead our Northern RAS practice, ideally based in Manchester. The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality employee incentives work and experience in winning market work and leading teams. The successful candidate will be a senior member of our national RAS practice, supported by local and national teams.
As an Associate Director in our Reward Advisory Services, Tax team, you will:
1. Work primarily with mid-market clients, providing technical reward advice in a practical, commercial context.
2. Deliver equity reward projects, share plan implementations, and provide specialist tax support on transactions.
3. Be part of the national RAS service line within the broader Employer Solutions team, collaborating across various service lines including Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services.
4. Manage graduates and trainees, supporting their development.
5. Support partners and directors in client acquisition and engagement leadership.
6. Manage client accounts, lead client relationships, and contribute to business development strategies.
Candidate Requirements
The minimum criteria include:
* Tax experience in Equity Reward.
* Professional qualification such as CTA, ATT, ACA, or equivalent, or being a qualified lawyer.
Desired skills include:
* Designing and implementing employee incentive plans.
* Excellent client service and time management skills.
* Proactive project management, including billing and fee management.
* Business development experience or interest.
* Document drafting and modelling skills.
