Job Description
This well-established Environmental and Occupational Hygiene consultancy offers professional services to a broad range of clients nationwide. Due to business requirements they are now looking to recruit a competent, experienced Occupational Hygienist based in the Derby area. Consideration will be given to applications from Loughborough, Mansfield, Burton‑on‑Trent, Newark‑on‑Trent and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience
* Holding NEBOSH Certificate would be beneficial.
* Will have a good educational background.
* Excellent communication skills essential.
* IT Literate.
* Previous experience working as an occupational hygienist.
* Well versed with the Health & Safety procedures regarding occupational monitoring and environments.
Role
* The work will involve undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments – air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand‑arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing.
* Site Assessments.
* Emissions testing.
* Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
* Effective management of projects/accounts effectively.
* Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
