Sales Admin Team Leader
Location: Reading (100% office‑based)
Salary: up to £30,000
Contract: Full‑time, permanent
We're seeking a hands‑on, organised Team Leader to support and motivate our Sales Administration team, ensuring smooth, accurate end‑to‑end order processing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a busy Sales Admin team; set priorities, clear blockers and maintain productivity.
* Oversee full order lifecycle: validate orders, update systems, coordinate with suppliers/logistics, and confirm dispatch.
* Act as a key contact for clients and suppliers, handling queries professionally.
* Track KPIs (accuracy, turnaround time, on‑time delivery) and recommend process improvements.
* Train and coach colleagues; manage rotas and ensure consistent service levels.
* Maintain accurate CRM/ERP records and escalate issues proactively.
What You’ll Bring
* Team leadership experience (formal or informal).
* Order processing experience in a product/distribution environment.
* Strong written and spoken English.
* Confident using MS Office and CRM/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, Dynamics, etc.).
* High attention to detail and calm under pressure.
Bonus Skills
* Experience refining workflows/SOPs.
* Excel reporting (lookups, pivots).
* Familiarity with SLAs in fulfilment/logistics.
