Client Manager – Accounts and Tax
Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom. Employment Type: Permanent.
Description
We’re looking for an experienced Manager to join our Cambridge office. This role is for a client-focused, technically strong accountant who enjoys building trusted relationships, managing a varied client portfolio, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and private client accounts across a range of sectors
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering proactive, high-quality advice
* Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, directors, and staff
* Review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations prepared by the team and ensure compliance with UK GAAP
* Review self-assessment tax computations and returns and liaise with tax specialists where required
* Manage deadlines and workflow, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard
* Support and develop junior and semi-senior team members through coaching and review
* Identify opportunities to add value and cross-sell Xeinadin services
Key Requirements
* ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts and UK compliance requirements
