We are seeking to recruit a Management Accountant to work within our Finance team on a 2-year Fixed term contract to support the business during an ERP implementation. The overall purpose of this role is to support the Financial Controller with the preparation of financial statements and forecasts, and calculating Publishers charges and payments.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with experience working within a finance team and possess excellent analytical, Excel, and customer service skills.
This position involves:
* Production of the monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
* Understanding the MDL business to provide analytical support
* Financial planning and analysis
* Ledger and overhead management
* CAPEX management and ROI assessment
The ideal candidate will have:
* A CIMA or ACCA qualification (CIMA preferred)
* Experience working in an accounting environment
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* High integrity
* A driver’s license, as travel to our Swansea site may be required
* Customer-centric mindset, prioritizing good service for internal and external clients

Hours of work are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, in Basingstoke.
