Job Opportunity: Solar Sales Specialist

About the Company:
Our client is a leading technology brand in the global residential energy sector, delivering innovative smart energy systems that integrate photovoltaic power, energy storage, EV chargers, and energy management. With over a decade of expertise, they drive innovation through proprietary full-stack power plant technology, enabling families worldwide to adopt sustainable, smart energy solutions.
The Role:
1. Identify new business opportunities with solar installers, focusing on consumer/residential markets.
2. Build and maintain long-term relationships with solar installers across the UK.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to strategize sales growth.
4. Conduct video, phone, and face-to-face meetings with new and existing clients.
5. Network, research, and identify new clients.
6. Monitor industry trends and competitors.
Required Skills:
* At least 2 years of sales experience with a distributor of residential solar PV systems, including technical, pre-sales, or installation management.
* Deep understanding of installer pain points such as system efficiency, ROI, roof compatibility, and policy incentives.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels with strong commercial awareness.
Additional Details:
The position offers an attractive basic salary based on experience, plus a car allowance and benefits. It is a hybrid role requiring two days per week from Milton Keynes or Cambridge, with client meetings expected. Candidates living near Oxford, Cambridge, or Milton Keynes are preferred.
