Join to apply for the Senior Occupational Therapy Assistant role at WMJobs. This permanent position is based in Birmingham with a working pattern of 36.5 hours per week. Grade 4 salary £34,434 – £41,771; consultation grade subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review.
About The Role
Using your understanding of the aspirations of the people who use our services and their carers, your focus will be on completing assessments and making recommendations that enable citizens to maximise their quality of life. Arranging the appropriate service provision, you will work with other agencies to reduce barriers to social inclusion and meet individual citizens’ needs. You will explore provision of simple and specialist equipment, minor adaptations and the provision of major adaptations, alongside supporting other aspects under the Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy team portfolio. This post would suit someone with hands-on experience in manual handling of people.

* Experience of working with elderly or disabled citizens, either in a professional or voluntary capacity.
