Our client, a leading provider in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team Key Responsibilities: Quantity surveying duties in managing projects and work packages Liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and control costs Collaborative work with clients to ensure business requirements are met Managing the main contract and ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary Preparation and issuance of subcontract documentation Assisting in the management and performance of subcontractors Preparation and agreement of applications for payment Preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts Assisting in the management and development of junior commercial staff Ensuring continuous professional development through external networking and participation in industry events Maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach to work with open and honest feedback Undertaking duties and training consistent with the general level of responsibility of the role Presenting a professional and positive image in all internal and external contacts Maintaining appropriate confidentiality Job Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification Working towards or having chartered membership of a recognised institution Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors Experience with NEC3 contracts ...
