We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school community in Chigwell. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire young learners at a crucial stage in their development.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive, and well-structured lessons across the KS1 curriculum, helping pupils build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging KS1 lessons
2. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
3. Assess, track, and support pupil progress effectively
4. Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
6. Contribute to the wider school life, including events and enrichment activities
7. Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
8. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Has experience or a strong understanding of KS1 teaching
10. Is creative, adaptable, and passionate about early education
11. Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
12. Is committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
13. Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
