* PQE: 5+ PQE

* Salary: Up to circa £80k (DOE)
The Role
Lead a senior role to be the head of the new Essex office with autonomy, support, and a fast‑tracked route to partnership.
Manage your own caseload of privately funded family law matters, including:
* Divorce
* Financial remedy proceedings
* Cohabitation disputes
* Pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements
* Private children law cases
Play a key role in developing the family offerings in Essex and handling a mix of private family work, including financial remedies, children matters, and complex high‑value disputes.
The Candidate
* Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 years PQE
* Proven technical expertise in family law matters
* Experience leading a team
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confidence to manage files independently
* Positive, collaborative professional with drive for impact and contribution to practice growth
