Lead with Purpose
– Take ownership of environmental compliance on-site, ensuring we meet ISO 14001 standards and go beyond the basics to embed sustainability into everything they do.
Turn Data into Action
– Monitor environmental factors like water, dust, noise, and waste, and translate your findings into practical improvements that make a real difference.
Spotlight What Matters
– Carry out regular site inspections, celebrating great practice and swiftly addressing any issues – your insights will help keep the project on track and environmentally sound.
Own the Plan
– Develop, maintain, and evolve the Environmental Management Plan, ensuring it’s not just a document, but a living, breathing part of the project’s success.
Collaborate to Succeed
– Work hand-in-hand with engineers, site teams, and stakeholders to embed environmental thinking into every decision and build strong, lasting relationships.
Who We’re Looking For :
Experienced & Ready
– You’ve worked in civil engineering, consultancy, or a specialist environmental role and are confident managing environmental responsibilities on complex infrastructure projects.
Big Picture Thinker
– You understand how environmental design impacts people, places, and projects – and you know how to balance ambition with practicality.
Professionally Qualified
– You’re an IEMA Practitioner or above (Chartered is a big plus), and you bring both technical know-how and a passion for sustainability.
Solutions-Focused
– You’re proactive, calm under pressure, and always looking for smart, effective ways to solve problems and reduce environmental risk.
Clear Communicator
– You’re great at building trust, influencing others, and making environmental priorities clear and compelling to a wide range of people.
