This collaboration combines the expertise of Turning Point and Bristol Drugs Project, along with several other local and national partners, to create a robust support system for our community.
As a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker in our Homelessness team, you will play a vital role in making a positive impact on individuals' lives. You’ll develop personalized, flexible support packages that empower clients to turn their lives around.
The salary for this role ranges from £25,870 to £30,265, depending on your experience, with annual pay progression available. Check out our salary scale below:

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of the Homelessness Team, you will take a hands-on approach to reduce drug-related harm in Bristol. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of clients seeking harm reduction advice, Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST), and Tier 4 (in-patient) treatment.
* Building and maintaining relationships with housing services, primary care, and mental health services.
* Collaborating with the wider Bristol Horizons teams to achieve our service goals.
* Providing harm reduction interventions, including Naloxone distribution, needle exchange, and Blood Borne Virus (BBV) testing.
* Conducting street outreach and hostel in-reach activities.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?
If you have experience managing a significant caseload as a Recovery Worker, Outreach Worker, or in a similar role, we want to hear from you! Your understanding of substance use and homelessness will be crucial.
Key qualifications include:
* Flexibility and knowledge of relapse and barriers to treatment.
* Experience in assessments, key working sessions, risk assessments, and care planning.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* A full driving license and access to a car is desirable.
