We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Plant Engineer to oversee inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of plant hire equipment in the region, ensuring all work is safe and complies with Speedy safety standards.
On a daily basis, you will work directly with other engineers in the depot and liaise with drivers and the hire desk team to prioritize repairs and maintenance effectively.
What you’ll need:
* Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to high standards, preferably in the hire industry or similar
* NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline
* A technical/engineering background is desirable
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Ability to support your team in delivering our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
