Brake Press Operator
Location: Monmouth
Salary: £27,378 - £30,420 per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 16.00pm Friday - 7am - 12 Noon
Vibe Recruit are currently working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in South Wales to recruit a Brake Press Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production team, producing high-quality metal panel products.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate brake press machines to form and bend metal components
* Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders
* Carry out quality checks to ensure all parts meet required specifications
* Adjust machine settings and tooling where necessary
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Undertake basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Person Specification
* Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience operating a brake press or similar machinery is desirable
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
