As a Senior Product Associate within the Collaboration and Communication Product Line, you will apply your expertise to all aspects of the software development and platform engineering lifecycle, working in agile teams and partnering with stakeholders to achieve shared goals aligned with our employees and customers. We encourage pushing product boundaries and exploring areas such as serverless computing, mobile, and big data technologies. We seek a Product Associate to manage and develop three key product areas within our Email Product Team. This includes overseeing the mail relay infrastructure (SMTP) supporting over 1,500 applications that send millions of emails daily, managing our secure file sharing solution for transactions and content delivery, and integrating applications with the Microsoft 365 (M365) stack to automate business processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence products vital to our communication, collaboration, and information security across the enterprise.
Based in Jersey City and London, this role is pivotal in shaping strategy and execution within our agile, multi-functional teams that thrive in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain and develop a product backlog aligned with the strategic roadmap to deliver value.
* Prioritize backlog items and maintain a clear product vision.
* Manage the product lifecycle through planning, execution, and future development, including risk management.
* Measure product success through KPIs and target outcomes.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to balance business needs, technology enablement, and operations.
* Understand and advocate for customer needs.
* Engage with users and stakeholders to promote adoption and optimize workflows.
* Conduct market research and analyze industry developments to inform product strategy.
* Define and monitor business metrics such as cost, features, risk, and reliability.
* Lead go-to-market strategies and marketing plans for the product.
* Exhibit strong risk management practices throughout the development cycle.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Experience in product management or a relevant domain.
* Background in enterprise technology product management.
* Knowledge of technical concepts, architectures, and cloud principles; hands-on development experience is not necessary.
* Experience with data mapping and migrations in a product management context.
* Proficiency in creating roadmaps, reports, backlog documentation, and solutions documentation.
* Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including strategy, customer engagement, architecture, engineering, and operations.
* Awareness of industry standards, trends, and emerging technologies.
* Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.
* Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for managing diverse partnerships.
* Experience writing technical stories using industry-standard notations in JIRA and Confluence.
