9 Months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover), Part Time (0.5)
Please note that this post is funded for the 2026/27 academic year onwards so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2026.
Responsibilities
Teach performance skills from Level 1 to Level 3. Develop module study guides and/or schemes of work, oversee their delivery, supervise assessment processes, carry out internal verification, liaise with external verifiers/moderators as required, and provide pastoral support to students when needed.
Qualifications
Hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and be recognised as a good or outstanding teacher. Hold a degree (or higher) or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject, alongside suitable acting and directing abilities and industry knowledge to effectively teach a range of performance skills from Level 2 to Level 3. Experience teaching SEND learners would be beneficial, though not essential. Thorough understanding of evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment; reflective practitioner with innovative approaches. Strong commitment to equality and diversity, safeguarding, personalised learning and delivery of educational excellence.
