Location:
Gerrards Cross, with a blend of home and office working, plus occasional travel to various sites in the Thames Valley region. Hours:

As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our commercial team, ensuring cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Conducting timely monthly cost value reconciliations and cashflow monitoring. Preparing project budgets and developing cost plans, estimating materials, time, and labor costs. Understanding and implementing contractual obligations. Preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and selecting contractors while adhering to Thames Water policies. Negotiating contract terms to ensure they align with project objectives and constraints. What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you possess: A degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of the IChemE Burgundy Book and experience in water/wastewater projects. Excellent numeracy and financial management skills. Experience with standard forms of contracts and cost control processes. A good understanding of construction law and project management practices.
