Regional Clinical Development Nurse - RGN - Complex Care Homes
Location: Mix of remote work and travel to Care Homes in Worksop, Billingham, Peterlee, Darlington, Mansfield, Hull and Launceston
Pay: £55,000 to £60,000 plus £6500 car allowance
Hours: 40 hours per week
The Role
As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse, you’ll lead, support, and continuously improve clinical governance and the quality of care across complex care homes in England.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting each care home to perform to the highest clinical standards
* Reviewing monthly clinical governance KPIs and identifying strategies to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
* Working with Managing Directors, senior clinical staff, and improvement specialists to implement action plans
* Organising training, supporting recruitment of senior clinical staff, and leading clinical investigations
* Regular travel between sites to provide hands-on leadership

Essential Criteria
* Current NMC registration as an RGN
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Experience working in a care home environment
* Confident clinical mentor, including for newly-qualified nurses
* Strong leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills
* Ability to implement action plans and drive results
* Willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites
