Job description:
Fashion designers create, develop, and produce clothing, accessories, and footwear concepts that align with brand identity, customer demand, and market trends. They transform creative ideas into designs that are both innovative and commercially viable, ensuring each collection reflects the brand's vision while meeting quality and functionality standards.
Tasks required by this job include:
* Conducts research on fashion trends, consumer preferences, textiles, and market competition;
* Designs clothing and accessory collections from concept sketches to final prototypes;
* Selects fabrics, colors, patterns, and embellishments to create original and appealing designs;
* Collaborates with product development, merchandising, and production teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with timelines;
* Prepares detailed technical drawings, specifications, and samples for production;
* Oversees fittings and adjusts designs to ensure proper function, comfort, and aesthetics;
* Monitors production processes to maintain design integrity and quality standards;
* Presents design concepts to stakeholders and contributes to brand direction and seasonal themes;
* Keeps up to date with new technologies, materials, and sustainability practices in fashion;
* Participates in fashion shows, presentations, and campaigns to promote collections and strengthen brand identity.

Pay: £38,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
