Join to apply for the Adults Clinical Psychologist role at Sun Spray Salon.
The post is located at Care First Pheasey, in the Walsall area, with the Clinical Team supporting the provision of services across multiple sites within Walsall, Kings Norton, and related areas. The role is Part Time (2 days per week) and Permanent (term-time only, or flexibility around a full-time contract can be discussed).
Responsibilities
* Contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for adults with learning difficulties, autism, and mental health difficulties.
* Support MDT working within a multidisciplinary clinical team embedded in education services to maximise clinical outcomes.
* Develop and deliver an enhanced psychological therapy offer by supporting growth of apprentices, students, and therapy assistants.
* Participate in research projects, special interest groups, and training opportunities as part of a wider psychological therapy network.
* Engage in supervision, CPD, and ongoing professional development within the North Region where available.
Essential Criteria
* Registered with the HCPC
* Doctoral level degree in Clinical/Counselling/Forensic/Educational Psychology (or equivalent if qualified prior to the introduction of the Doctorate)
* Relevant experience in related settings or with the related client group
* Experience of effective multi-disciplinary working and working with families/relatives and carers
* Ability to develop formulations and inform clinical intervention plans
* Excellent written and verbal communication, including accurate clinical records
* Strong IT skills and ability to use core computer programmes and platforms
* Commitment to safeguarding and flexible working environments
* Full driving licence and access to a car
Desirable
* Experience with neuro-diverse and/or social, emotional and mental health client groups
* Experience providing supervision to others
* Knowledge of current legislation affecting clinical practice
* Post-qualification training in role-related topics and evidence-based interventions
