About the Role:
The Head of Social & Content leads one of Veygo’s key growth and brand channels across owned, earned and paid social. Working closely with the Head of Brand & Creative, the role brings brand strategy to life through platform‑native, ideas‑led content that resonates with young drivers and their parents.
This role combines a strong creative point of view and cultural fluency with a clear understanding of commercial impact, playing a key role in overall marketing strategy by ensuring social and content drive awareness, consideration and customer acquisition at scale. The role acts as a senior strategic partner to Growth and Product teams, using audience insight and social listening to influence go‑to‑market priorities, product launches and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Social & content strategy
* Own Veygo’s social and content strategy, aligned to brand positioning and marketing priorities
* Make social and content the lead expression of the brand through clear content pillars and platform‑native thinking
* Bring audience, creator and platform insight into wider marketing strategy
Commercial impact & growth
* Accountable for social and content contribution to awareness, consideration and acquisition
* Partner with Acquisition to support revenue and growth objectives
* Use performance insight and test‑and‑learn to guide investment and improve effectiveness
Content planning & execution
* Own end‑to‑end social content planning and delivery
* Build a high‑volume, high‑quality content engine
* Balance cultural relevance with clear messaging and regulatory responsibility
Channel ownership & community
* Own presence, engagement and sentiment across priority social platforms
* Lead community management, moderation and tone of voice
* Build trusted communities that drive advocacy and word of mouth
Brand articulation & collaboration
* Work closely with the Head of Brand & Creative to bring positioning to life
* Partner with Product and Marketing teams on launches, journeys and campaigns
* Feed social listening and community insight into product and CX improvement
Influencers, creators & partnerships
o Build and scale influencer, creator and ambassador relationships
o Develop a creator ecosystem across owned and paid social
o Partner with brands to co‑create content for owned and earned channels
Creative direction & measurement
o Set creative direction for social and creator‑led content
o Ensure paid and organic assets are platform‑native and on‑brand
o Define goals and measure impact across reach, engagement, sentiment and performance
Team leadership
o Line manage the Social Media Manager and work closely with Social Creative / Editor
o Set clear direction, standards and ways of working
o Build a high‑performing social and content team
Essential Experience:
o Significant experience leading social media and content at a senior level
o Proven track record of building social presence and content capability from early or underdeveloped foundations
o Deep understanding of social platforms, trends and creator ecosystems
o Experience leading high‑volume content production without losing strategic focus
o Experience demonstrating commercial impact from social and content activity
o Strong judgement and confidence operating as a public‑facing brand leader
o Strong cross‑functional leadership skills, including partnership with Product and Growth teams
Desirable Experience:
o Experience in regulated or high‑consideration categories
o Experience building community‑led brands
o Experience working with youth or Gen Z audiences
Interview Process:

o Initial conversation with the Talent team
o First stage interview with the 2 members of the hiring team (On‑Site/ Remote)
o Second stageinterview with a task(On‑Site/Remote)
