Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading healthcare provider with their search for an experienced Telephone Triage Clinician. This opportunity is perfect for a registered healthcare professional looking to move into a largely home-based role, using their nursing or clinical expertise to provide high-quality advice over the phone.
This role can be based in either Mansfield or Nottingham, with a highly competitive salary on offer of c£44k – c£52k alongside flexible working options and excellent professional development opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Deliver independent telephone-based consultations, offering guidance and arranging onward referrals where required
* Promote self-care by signposting individuals to appropriate health, wellbeing, and community resources
* Assess and prioritise needs in line with established policies and clinical guidelines
* Provide professional advice and support to colleagues while working collaboratively with wider service partners
* Ensure accurate and confidential record-keeping in accordance with information governance standards
Skills & Experience
* Registered healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC)
* Post-registration experience with strong clinical background
* Previous telephone triage or consultation experience advantageous
* Urgent or emergency care, minor illness/injury, or OOH experience advantageous
* Skilled in working independently and to protocols with sound clinical judgement
