The Governors of this Catholic high school wish to appoint a well-qualified and committed Teacher of Business Studies with the skills to challenge and encourage students to achieve their potential. The candidate should have the ability to think creatively and promote student engagement. St Mary’s is a good school that is rapidly improving and seeks applications from highly motivated and inspirational individuals committed to ensuring every child and adult in our community has the self-belief to flourish.
The Business Department is successful and popular, with increasing student numbers. We offer A Level Business, Level 3 Business CTEC, and GCSE Business Studies. The successful candidate will have energy and enthusiasm to meet the demands of a thriving department that encourages students to study beyond the curriculum and participate in co-curricular activities.
Governors are committed to appointing the best candidate and welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers, including those with school or FE backgrounds. Offering a second subject would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will support our ethos, bringing professionalism, academic credibility, warmth, and sensitivity.
