About the Role
Halewood Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality Geography lessons and inspire students across the curriculum in a supportive and forward‑thinking school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well‑structured Geography lessons across relevant key stages
* Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
* Track student progress and support positive outcomes
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team
About You
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
* Is passionate about Geography and student engagement
* Has strong behaviour management and organisational skills
* Is reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards
