Pay £44,447 to 46,547 Job description The post offers an exciting development opportunity for a SEO, to utilise their HR expertise and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, to work in a fast-paced environment over both Product and HR functional disciplines. The HR Product Policy and Content Support role is a key member of the product team, driving programme objectives by taking a leading role in delivery with external partners and stakeholders. You will be an advocate for Synergy, the changes the programme is looking to deliver, and be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with HR Product Managers, Process Owners, Delivery Partners and the SME community across the four departments. The role will bring flexibility to pick up a variety of work and the ability to switch focus at pace is also key to being successful in this role. While the ideal candidate would be able to hit the ground running, Synergy aims to promote a safe and supportive environment for candidates to explore their own development requirements. Key tasks include: Supporting the successful delivery of the Synergy HR and Payroll Functional work plan through leading on specific activities, keeping track of required actions, documenting key decisions, and ensuring information is shared across the team as well as wider HR functional working groups. Collating and quality assuring information, data, insight, and evidence provided by subject matter experts (SMEs) from across the four departments and use this to actively contribute to the direction of the programme’s design. Working inclusively and collaboratively with proven organisational skills, and the ability, resilience, and flexibility to work at pace. Applying knowledge of HR processes and policies to support impact analysis on achieving convergence across 4 large and complex government departments. Creating and managing policy/content including letters, ensuring accuracy, consistency and style, seeking approval from key stakeholders Communicating with clarity, integrity, and enthusiasm. Building and maintaining strong effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues to confidently challenge, influence and negotiate positive outcomes and solutions. Supporting the facilitation of cross cluster working groups including producing key information to enable decision making, tracking of decisions and deputising for Product Managers as appropriate.
