We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on Project Engineer to help deliver key engineering projects that drive site performance and operational excellence. If you enjoy variety, problem‑solving, and working at the heart of technical operations, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate operatives and subcontractors to deliver projects safely and efficiently
* Plan, schedule, and prioritise work to meet client and service requirements
* Ensure full compliance with site and company safety procedures
* Produce permits, reports, and project documentation
* Conduct site surveys, support pricing, and identify improvement opportunities
* Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions
* Carry out RAMS, point‑of‑work checks, and contribute to pre‑job briefs
* Support and guide team members to maintain high standards
About You
* Proven Project Engineering experience in a technical/industrial environment
* HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Confident communicator with solid H&S and quality knowledge
* Able to interpret technical information and solve practical problems
* Experience with budgets, cost control, and Microsoft Office
* Comfortable leading teams and coordinating subcontractors
* Flexible with working hours when needed
