About us
Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital, renowned for delivering high-quality healthcare treatments and services. Our focus is on providing excellent care in a clean and safe environment.
We offer both private and NHS services to Cornwall and beyond, with high standards of care and customer service. Our positive nurse-to-patient ratio allows staff more time to care.
Our services include elective surgeries such as orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, gynaecology, and ophthalmology, delivered through four laminar flow theatres. We also have an Ambulatory Care Unit, inpatient ward, outpatient services, physiotherapy, and a busy cardiology service including a cardiac cath lab.
Our Values
We are committed to delivering the best care, driven by our belief in the importance of who we are. 'The Ramsay Way' culture values our staff as our most important asset, which has been key to our success.
We support the UK's Armed Forces and Reservists, having achieved the Silver Award in the MOD's Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. We are dedicated to supporting the wider Armed Forces community, including our staff and patients.
This position is subject to background and DBS checks, and we are committed to equality of opportunity for all.
