The role is a Full Time - 37.5 hours per week position, with a salary of Ad-Hoc Band 7 - £46,148- £52,809 + NHS Agenda for Change Section 2.
We are looking to recruit a Ad-hoc Clinical Safety Navigator (CSN) within our 999 Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in Crawley, West Sussex or Gillingham, Medway, Kent. This role will be part of the 2IC development role to support the team, you will be required to complete at least one shift per month to maintain competencies and then step up as required to support gaps within the CSN team.
Main duties of the job
* As a first line manager, the post holder will be a focal point for staff; providing advice, guidance, motivation, direction and leadership as well as managing rotas, sickness and welfare issues.
* Clinical Safety Navigators must provide clinical supervision for the NHS Pathways or Pathways Clinical Consultation Support (PaCCS) call triage system.
* The post holder must be fully licenced and qualified in or be willing to commit to, and successfully complete the full training and mentoring package for either system.
