Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of defence-related systems and equipment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-performance, mission-critical solutions for land, sea, or air platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and systems for defence applications.
Conduct structural and thermal analysis using FEA tools.
Support the integration of mechanical systems with electrical and software subsystems.
Create and review detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant defence standards and regulations.
Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA).
Familiarity with defence standards (e.g., MIL-STD, DEF-STAN) is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Eligibility for UK security clearance.
