Description
Process high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Assist in preparing payment runs and liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
Work closely with other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
Support the month-end process by providing accurate data and reports.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.
Respond to internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner.Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
SAP & Ideally SAP Concur
Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of work efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
