We help Arm's partners build real world applications based on Arm technology. Our partners scale from big semiconductor houses to small start-ups, and all of them are building new exiting products. Job Overview
This role focuses on supporting our software solutions deployed by OEMs and ODMs and ecosystem for Edge AI applications. You will be leading a small sized team, as well as directly contributing on a technical level to support deliveries. The work done by the team will directly be aligned to the deliveries of the engineering team as well as business goals. There is great potential for innovation and career progression in this role as new technologies and Arm ambitions emerge.
Responsibilities
* Recruit, lead and mentor a geographically distributed applications engineering team (5-10 engineers)
* Collaborate with hardware and ML application engineering peers and cross-functional teams across engineering, the business unit landing team, product management
* Define, plan and manage support deliverables such as training material throughout the product lifecycle
* Engage with product management to align support with product strategy and partner needs
* Provide support for our partners with firmware and software related problems on their Arm-based systems
* Deliver occasional customer training sessions or assist at major customer project milestone
* Travel occasionally to Arm sites and partner locations
Required Skills And Experience
* 10+ years in firmware/software development
* Strong C/C++ programming skills
* Deep understanding of SoC architecture
* Experience debugging from firmware to OS/application layers
* Solid grasp of Arm processor architecture
* Experience of leading teams, directly and indirectly
* Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
Nice To Have Skills And Experience
* System bring-up and JTAG debugging expertise
* Good background of system performance analysis
* Experience with RTL simulation tools and software development tools
