As a Night Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll bring comfort, dignity and reassurance to older people during the quiet hours of the night. Your presence will help ensure everyone in our care feels safe, respected and supported.
What Your Day Could Involve
1. Providing wakeful night cover as part of a dedicated care team
2. Supporting with personal care, mobility and comfort throughout the night
3. Responding to any emergencies calmly and efficiently
4. Promoting wellbeing through conversation, reassurance and kindness
5. Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
6. Liaising with health professionals and recording accurate care notes
About You
You’re caring, reliable and compassionate. You take time to treat every person with dignity and kindness. Ideally, you’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, or be willing to work towards it with support. You’ll need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership. You’ll also be comfortable working within and upholding our Christian ethos.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
