We’re currently recruiting for a Release Delivery Manager to join our Product Delivery team, someone whounderstands the software release process and can quickly take ownership of planning,coordinating and delivering new software releases. It’s a transversal rolebased in the R&D department that requires strong collaboration with alldepartments including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your ideal role?
* Plan and coordinate upgrade and maintenancereleases for all applications delivering to multiple clients and projects
* Own the software release processfrom development, to testing and then delivery to the customer
* Work with the Test Lead, ProductOwners and the Development Programme Manager to ensure release readiness
* Identify, manage and mitigaterisks and resolve issues regarding release quality and schedule and escalat**e** as required
* Release incident management; coordinating defectimpact analysis, identifying the affected client(s) and arranging maintenancereleases as required
* Produce and update the sprint and releaseplanners
* Own and develop release documentation forboth internal and external consumption
* Across allprocesses continually evaluate effectiveness and productivity, looking for bothmajor and minor improvement ideas
* Understand clientrelease and deployment processes and identify improvement opportunities
* Evolve the releasemanagement processes to support our transition to a modular agile releaseprocess
* Deputise for the Development ProgrammeManager when required
