SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Fallowfield, currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from November.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through one-to-one and small group interventions in a nurturing and high-achieving environment.

Your Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Deliver tailored support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering personalised learning activities
Support the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to track and support pupil progress
Adapt strategies to meet the evolving needs of learners
What We’re Looking For
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience supporting children with SEN
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
