Despatch Operatives
Required to pick product, assemble customer orders, label and check orders for hauliers for delivery to customers. Your role is critical in ensuring the factory meets all of its delivery and customer service obligations. You will
* Operate plant, equipment and systems for the picking and assembly of individual customer orders.
* Work closely and effectively with Drivers, Despatch Operatives, Technical and Despatch management
* Ensure the correct despatch adjustments are actioned and orders are loaded safely and correctly onto lorries.
* Be accountable for ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
An environment like Mash is busy and given that we work with fresh produce, the work environment includes working with chilled product and freezers. You must be able to work in a busy warehouse environment and are able to work to ensure customer orders are accurate and correct.
Any previous experience of working in a warehouse will be an advantage and help you settle into this role quickly. If not, but you have an aptitude and willingness to learn the basics of working in a warehouse then your application will be welcomed. You should be physically able to do the job and able to follow instructions.
Eligibility to work in the UK is essential along with a basic level of English and Maths.
Work Times:
The working hours will be typically based on 45+ hours, hour shifts, 5 days per week, weekends on a rota basis)
Starting rates from £12.21 per hour, £12.55 per hour for multi skilled.
