Class 1 Driver
Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to work for our client based in the Oxford area. This will involve trunking work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.
Requirements of a Class 1 Driver:
* Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
* Be able to complete 2-3 runs - Day work / Trunking work - Nights
* Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
* No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
Details:
* Salary: £18ph - Days / £19ph - Nights
* Working hours: Monday to Friday (05.00 am start) or (17.00 start)
* Location: Oxford
* Duration: Ongoing work
Role of a Class 1 Driver:
* Complete trunking runs; trailer swapping will be involved - Nights
* Collections and delivery work (2-3 runs) - Days
* Complete vehicle checks
* Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
