History Teacher – Leeds

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable History teacher ready to make a difference? Protocol Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Leeds that is entering an exciting phase of growth and development. We are seeking a talented Teacher of History to join their dedicated Humanities team.
This role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, and the school welcomes applications from ECTs and subject specialists looking to begin or develop their teaching careers.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3–5
* Teach within a supportive and experienced department of three History teachers
* Play an active role in the school’s extensive enrichment programme
* Contribute to the wider Humanities curriculum and occasionally teach outside of History
* Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply – planning is not required for unqualified staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Be a qualified teacher of History or a strong subject specialist
* Be committed to high-quality teaching and learning
* Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to the department
* ECTs will benefit from a well-established support and induction programme

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
