Overview
You will work closely with the Team Leaders and Theatre Coordinator to establish a good working environment and make the most efficient use of staff, supplies and services. We are seeking an experienced, motivated practitioner for the exciting opportunity of becoming a Scrub Deputy Team Leader.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate excellent role model behaviour and lead by example.
* Act as an effective leader and step in to lead the team in the absence of seniors.
* Provide specialist surgical scrub and circulating clinical support.
* Show high‑level organisational skills, including time management and confident prioritisation of clinical and managerial responsibilities.
* Participate in effective clinical leadership and management of the team.
* Support and develop junior and new members of the team.
* Commit to delivering a high‑quality service, ensuring patient care, safety and experience is the best it can be.
Qualifications
* Experienced Registered Nurse or ODP motivated to learn new skills and knowledge in management and leadership.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a surgical team and support clinical and managerial responsibilities.
