On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a number of Skilled Inspectors for a 12 month contract working on a 3 shift pattern based in Bristol.
What we require from the candidate::
A recognised time-served apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, along with either NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, technical instruction and asset care.
A strong awareness of H&S and inspection visual techniques.
As a Skilled Inspector you will be able to::
Work to technical instructions to deliver consistent, high-quality machining and inspection across a variety of different components and product families.
Operate measuring equipment, including, micrometers, plug gauges, and surface finish equipment.
Interpret manufacturing drawings, customer drawings, written specifications.
Analyse and understand the output of CMM programmes.
