We are seeking a Senior Planner to support the delivery of major healthcare and infrastructure construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong planning expertise using ASTA Powerproject and solid NEC contract knowledge, ideally gained within complex building or infrastructure environments. You will work closely with project delivery teams, consultants, and stakeholders on large-scale construction programmes, with a particular focus on healthcare and public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage baseline programmes, progress updates, recovery programmes, and look-ahead schedules
* Apply strong construction sequencing and critical path analysis
* Support change control processes, compensation events, and EOT assessments
* Produce clear reporting and programme analysis for internal and external stakeholders
* Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and client representatives
* Ensure programmes are fully aligned with NEC contract requirements
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner in construction or infrastructure
* Advanced experience using ASTA Powerproject (essential)
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC4 preferred)
* Experience on major build, infrastructure, healthcare, hospital, or public sector projects
* Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ideal Background
* Healthcare / NHS / hospital project experience highly desirable
* Infrastructure or civil engineering background preferred
* Main contractor or tier-one contractor experience beneficial
* Mid-level to senior planners considered
Technical Skills
* ASTA Powerproject (essential)
* NEC / NEC4 contract experience (essential)
* Strong Excel and reporting capability
