Job Title: Naval Architect
Location: Bristol - Hybrid - Minimum 1 day per week on-site
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience
Our client, an established marine engineering firm, require an experienced Naval Architect to join their multi-disciplined team.
Within the Vehicle Control team, you will be working alongside a team of experts within Naval Architecture and the Whole Boat Design Team in one of the largest and fastest growing Naval Architecture Departments in the UK. Positions are available from Senior to Principal level.

What the role of the Naval Architect entails:
Some of the main duties of the Naval Architect will include:
1. Conducting analysis and evaluation of ship platforms manoeuvring performance from concept design to in-service support
2. Undertaking development, verification and validation of mathematical manoeuvring model using physical model test data
3. Generation of Safe Manoeuvring Envelopes and supporting associated operator guidance
4. You will be working with enterprise partners to develop the modelling capability, processes and toolsets for use to support our major programmes
