About the Role
Due to continued growth, our Client is expanding its project delivery support team and is seeking an experienced Document Controller / Project Administrator to join the Cramlington office.
This is a key role at the heart of the project team—perfect for someone organised, detail‑driven, and confident working in a fast‑paced construction environment. You’ll support the smooth flow of information from design through to project handover.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, O&M manuals, and specifications
*
Maintain structured electronic and paper filing systems in line with company and project requirements
*
Ensure document control procedures are followed, including version control and approvals
*
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients
*
Upload, manage, and update documents across platforms such as Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex, or client-specific systems
*
Support audits by ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date
*
Produce regular reports on document status and outstanding actions
*
Manage final project archiving and handover documentation
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role (construction or M&E preferred)

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*
Confident communicator with a friendly, collaborative approach

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a live project environment
*
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
