Right now, we're looking for a Theatre Co-ordinatorwith lots of experience behind them to become part of the team here in Timaru.You will be supporting and overseeing a team committed to providing excellentperi-operative care. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role wherethere is never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!
You will be responsible for the day-to-dayco-ordination of the Operating Theatres, Recovery & Endoscopy suites. Thiswill include maintaining the Theatre roster, managing resources, activelyoverseeing clinical practice, and ensuring multi-disciplinary team involvementin the peri-operative environment.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a teamcoordinating role, or hold strong aspirations toward taking on a leadershiprole. We are looking for someone who has what it takes to effectively lead ateam; including the ability to problem-solve, demonstrate sound professionaljudgement with excellent communication and rapport-building skills. A post Graduate qualification or willingnessto work towards this will be an advantage. Peri operative experience is essential for this role.
