Your new role
- Support daily store cash accounting including:
- Recording and reconciling cash receipts.
- Ensuring accurate posting of cash transactions against sales/returns.
- Monitoring store float balances and organising cash collections.
- Assist with retail and emerce gift card and store credit reconciliations.
- Take ownership of selected balance sheet accounts and monthly reconciliations.
- Process monthly department store settlements for loyalty schemes and emerce activity.
- Support credit control processes.
- Handle new customer and supplier set up requests in line with internal controls.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance leadership team.

What you'll need to succeed

- Basic understanding of finance, accounting or business principles with a willingness to learn.
- Awareness of revenue streams and cash‑handling within a retail environment.
- Practical experience or internships are beneficial but not essential.

- Graduate level education or equivalent; finance related studies advantageous.
- Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and XLOOKUP).
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Highly organised, detail oriented and structured approach to work.
- Strong problem solving ability and persistence when investigating issues.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to improve processes.
- Clearmunicator andfortable working cross‑functionally.
- Positive, adaptable, and supportive team mindset.
