Requirements:
Must have in-house legal recruiting experience. Partner recruiting experience is highly beneficial.
This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious and expanding law firm. Based in the London office, you'll work closely with two experienced Directors and collaborate with the wider Recruitment and HR teams. You'll play a key role in driving Partner and Associate hiring across London and EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Introduce efficiencies in support of seamless workflow management for international lateral partner candidates.
* Cultivate a strong understanding of the legal market and build relationships with key recruiters to ensure they understand the firm's hiring needs and can properly convey firm culture to candidates.
* Develop a thorough understanding of position requirements, draft job descriptions and help to identify talent that aligns with the needs of the relevant practice group.
* Manage the full recruitment cycle for lateral associate & counsel candidates, from sourcing and screening and supporting the team with interview scheduling during periods of high volume or sensitive hiring, handling offer authorisations sending offers, overseeing conflicts clearance and tailored closing efforts.
* Manage, mentor and further develop the junior members of the recruiting team.
About You
* Educated to degree level or equivalent and have 5+ years' related experience at a large law firm.
* Experience recruiting for both partners and associates.
* Global recruiting experience – ideally including the Middle East.
* Team management experience.
