As a Lead Maintainability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintainability and efficiency of equipment and infrastructure within production and processing facilities.
You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to develop strategies and solutions aimed at optimizing asset performance and lifespan, while minimizing maintenance downtime and installation risks.
Your responsibilities include conceptualizing and designing solutions and tools to optimize maintenance and installation of new components in existing plants, and contributing to New Product Development (NPD) by integrating Design For Maintainability principles, focusing on performance and maintainability over time.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement innovative methodologies for installation & maintenance of Baker Hughes equipment.
* Conduct detailed 3D simulations and clash analysis of equipment installations and facility layouts, identifying opportunities to improve maintainability through design and spatial planning, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement improvements.
* Design and prototype tools and solutions for specific maintenance challenges, leveraging creativity and technical expertise to streamline tasks and enhance efficiency.
* Assess lifting operations, ensuring safety and efficiency through sound design principles.
Qualifications and skills:
* Master's Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Energy Engineering.
* Professional experience in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
* Experience in Maintainability, Design, and Field activities.
* Knowledge of Turbomachinery, mechanical systems configuration, and structural design.
* Proficiency with CAD, FEA, and programming tools.
* Fluent in English, both oral and written.
* Ability to influence, build relationships, and work effectively with teams and clients.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
* Self-starter with proactive problem-solving skills.
* Adherence to ethical standards and company policies.
* EU passport holder and willingness to attend 2 months of training in Florence, Italy.
